Jerry Koosman helped set up a run with a sacrifice bunt in the fifth inning and pitched the Mets to a 1-0 victory over the Reds. Koosman, who brought his record to 15-7, scattered five hits, struck out 11 and did not issue a pass. In the fifth, Roy Staiger singled off Gary Nolan and was forced by Bud Harrelson.
