Allowing only five hits, Tom Underwood pitched the Phillies to a 5-1 victory over the Astros. The Phils put the game away with three runs in the second inning. Jay Johnstone tripled and scored on a wild pitch by Larry Dierker. Bob Boone doubled, stopped at third on a single by Bobby Tolan and sauntered home on a double by Terry Harmon.
