Graig Nettles and Thurman Munson provided a punch that enabled the Yankees to snap their three-game string of defeats with a 9-4 conquest of the Twins. Nettles had four hits, including two doubles and his 21st homer, while Munson, ending an 0-for-16 slump, contributed two singles and drove in three runs. [The Sporting News]
