Mike Ivie drove in four runs with a pair of singles to lead the Padres to a 7-3 victory over the Pirates. Richie Zisk homered with a mate aboard for the Pirates in the first inning, but the Padres came back with three runs in their half on singles by Tito Fuentes, Willie Davis, Dave Winfield and Ivie. The Padres added two runs in the second and completed their scoring when Ivie singled with the bases loaded in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
