The Astros extended the Phillies' losing streak to four games by scoring a 3-1 victory behind the five-hit pitching of Dan Larson. A two-run double by Cesar Cedeno in the eighth inning, scoring Larson who doubled and Enos Cabell who reached base on Mike Schmidt's throwing error, was the big blow in the Astros' fifth straight triumph.
