Breaking a tie when Rico Carty walked with the bases loaded, the Indians scored three runs in the 10th inning and defeated the White Sox, 4-2. After Carty drew his pass, Boog Powell beat out an infield hit for another run and George Hendrick capped the inning with a sacrifice fly.
