. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A single by Tito Fuentes with two out and the bases loaded in the ninth inning scored Doug Rader and brought the Padres a 4-3 victory over the Braves. Rader singled for his third hit of the game and moved up on a sacrifice by Fred Kendall. Hector Torres drew an intentional pass and was forced by Merv Rettenmund as Rader took third. Following a walk to Johnny Grubb, Fuentes ended the game with his single. [The Sporting News]
