George Brett singled with two out in the 10th inning for his fifth hit of the game to drive in Dave Nelson and gave the Royals a 6-5 victory over the Angels. Frank White flied out and Bob Stinson struck out before Nelson, Jim Wohlford and Brett singled in succession to snap the Royals' four-game losing streak. [The Sporting News]
