After the Angels rallied for three runs in the seventh inning to tie the score, Jerry Remy knocked in two teammates with a single in the ninth to beat the Rangers, 6-4. The Angels' tallies in the seventh counted on two walks, a triple by Dan Briggs and single by Bill Melton.
