A homer by Mike Hargrove in the ninth inning lifted the Rangers to a 6-5 victory over the Angels. Tony Solaita batted in two runs with a double in the first inning when the Angels took a 3-0 lead, but the Rangers picked up a tally in the fourth and went ahead with four unearned runs in the fifth. The Angels tied the score in the eighth with one of their runs coming on an inside-the-park homer by Dave Collins. [The Sporting News]
