Graig Nettles smashed two homers, one of them with the bases loaded, and also rapped a pair of doubles in a slugging show during the Yankees' 9-6 victory over the Red Sox. Nettles homered with one aboard in the first inning and then connected for his grand slam in the second to finish off loser Luis Tiant. The Yankee third baseman also scored two other times after reaching base with his doubles.
