Rick Monday hit his first homer in a Los Angeles uniform to provide the Dodgers with a 4-3 victory over the Braves. The Dodgers fell behind, 3-2, in the sixth inning when Vic Correll homered for the Braves, but Ron Cey tied the score with a circuit clout in the Dodgers' half before Monday decided the outcome with his round-tripper in the eighth.
