Homers by Richie Zisk and Jim Essian powered the White Sox to a 7-3 victory over the winless Red Sox, who went down to their fourth straight defeat. Essian, playing in his 101st game, hit his first major league homer in the third inning. Zisk connected after singles by Ralph Garr and Essian in the seventh.
