The Tigers committed five errors, including three in one inning by shortstop Mark Wagner, while losing to the Blue Jays, 7-6. Doug Ault opened the Jays' sixth with a homer to tie the score at 4-4. Gary Woods was safe on a fumble by Wagner, stole second and scored when the shortstop missed the throw from catcher Milt May. Steve Bowling reached first on Wagner's third error of the inning.
