Ben Oglivie batted in three runs with a homer and sacrifice fly to pace the Tigers to a 4-3 victory over the Royals. Oglivie's homer followed a double by Jason Thompson in the second inning. The Tigers counted again on singles by Ron LeFlore, Tito Fuentes and Steve Kemp in the sixth before Oglivie followed with his sacrifice fly to score Fuentes. [The Sporting News]
