Back-to-back homers by Bobby Bonds and Don Baylor in the third inning highlighted the Angels' 6-4 victory over the Mariners. After those blows tied the score at 3-3, the Angels went ahead to stay when Dave Chalk singled and Jerry Remy doubled for a run in the fourth. Chalk, who collected three hits, singled to add a tally in the fifth and the Angels wrapped up their scoring in the sixth on Remy's second double of the game and a single by Bonds.
