Homers by Roy Smalley, Lyman Bostock and Butch Wynegar accounted for all of the Twins' scoring in a 4-1 victory over the Rangers. Smalley led off the game with his round-tripper. After the Rangers tied the score, Smalley singled in the eighth and Bostock, who had struck out three straight times, followed with his homer off Bert Blyleven. One out later, Wynegar also hit for the circuit. [The Sporting News]
