Ken Griffey drove in one run in the first inning and scored another to start the Reds off to a 3-1 victory over the Braves. Pat Zachry, the only Reds' pitcher to go the route so far this season, turned the trick for the second time. Pete Rose opened the game by drawing a walk and raced home when Griffey doubled. Dan Driessen singled to score Griffey. The Reds' other run came in the fourth on singles by Driessen and Johnny Bench around a stolen base. [The Sporting News]
