Although held hitless in four trips, Ron Cey drove in a run with an infield out for his 28th RBI of the opening month of the season during the Dodgers' 4-0 victory over the Expos. Tommy John and Charlie Hough, who pitched the last 1 1/3 innings, combined on the shutout.
