A wild pitch by Steve Stone in the sixth inning handed the Rangers their deciding run in a 2-1 victory over the White Sox. Jorge Orta homered for the White Sox and Sandy Alomar for the Rangers. Stone gave up a double by Bert Campaneris in the sixth, walked two batters and uncorked his wild pitch, allowing Campy to score. [The Sporting News]
