A walk to Fred Kendall and singles by Duane Kuiper and Buddy Bell in the seventh inning gave the Indians a 6-5 victory over the Twins. Johnny Grubb and Rico Carty each batted in two of the Indians' earlier tallies. The Twins had homers by Larry Hisle and Rod Carew, Hisle's blow coming with two men on base. [The Sporting News]
