. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Hitting a pair of doubles, Dave Parker drove in the Pirates' first four runs in an 8-0 victory over the Braves, who went down to their 11th straight defeat. A single by Oamr Moreno and walk to Ed Ott preceded Parker's first double at the start of the game. Larry Demery tripled and Ott walked again in the second before Parker hit his second double. Parker then scored on a single by Al Oliver. [The Sporting News]
