The Blue Jays, with Doug Ault hitting a three-run homer in the fourth inning, belted the Mariners, 10-4, in the first meeting of the American League expansion clubs. Ault's sixth homer of the season tied the score, 3-3. and the Blue Jays went ahead to stay in the fifth on Bob Bailor's sacrifice fly and Al Woods' run-scoring single. [The Sporting News]
