Doug Rau took his first loss after five wins as the Astros scored a 5-3 victory over the Dodgers. Joaquin Andujar gave up five hits for his fifth win and Ken Forsch logged his sixth save by putting down a Dodger threat in the ninth. The Astros won it with four runs in the second on singles by Enos Cabell, Art Howe and Cesar Cedeno and an error by shortstop Ted Martinez.
