. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The Mariners swept a doubleheader from the Rangers, 7-4, 9-3, extending the longest winning streak in club history to five games. A two-run double by Ruppert Jones was the decisive blow in the Mariners' three-run seventh inning of the first game.

Carlos Lopez hit a home run in the fourth, delivered a run-scoring double in a three-run fifth and unloaded another homer in the seventh inning of the second game as the Mariners completed their 12-game trip with a 9-3 record. [The Sporting News]
