After hitting a homer in the seventh inning, Cesar Geronimo accounted for two more runs with a single in the eighth when the Reds scored three times to defeat the Braves, 5-3. A single by Ken Griffey and passes to Joe Morgan and Dan Driessen preceded Geronimo's single that put the Reds ahead, 4-3. Dave Concepcion followed with another single to add an insurance run.
