. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Jim Rice and Butch Hobson hit homers to back a route-going performance by Reggie Cleveland, who pitched the Red Sox to a 5-1 victory over the Yankees. Rice rapped his round-tripper in the first inning. After the Yankees got their run on a homer by Graig Nettles in the second, George Scott walked and Hobson hit for the circuit in the Red Sox half. Rick Miller added a two-run single in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
