The Yankees smashed four homers, including three in one inning, and beat the Brewers, 9-2, behind the five-hit hurling of Mike Torrez. Roy White and Reggie Jackson hit solo drives in succession in the second and, after the Yankees put two men on base, Bucky Dent also connected for the circuit to make the inning good for five runs.
