With two out in the 11th inning, Willie Stargell smashed a three-run homer to power the Pirates to a 10-7 victory over the Padres. Stargell's blow off Rollie Fingers followed singles by Dave Parker and Al Oliver. Gene Tenace hit two homers and a single for the Padres, driving in four runs. Bill Robinson, who had three RBIs for the Pirates, doubled in the seventh and scored on a single by Rennie Stennett to tie the score at 7-7. [The Sporting News]
