The Brewers sent Augustine on the way to his victory by scoring three runs in the fifth inning. Robin Yount singled and counted on a double by Von Joshua, who then crossed the plate on a single by Cecil Cooper. After a pass to Sixto Lezcano, Don Money singled to drive in Cooper.
