Pat Kelly homered with two men on base in the 11th inning to climax a four-run outburst as the Orioles came from behind to defeat the Brewers, 8-5. The Brewers took the lead with an unearned run in the top half of the 11th. Sal Bando singled, took second on a sacrifice and scored when Billy Smith booted a grounder by Jim Wohlford.

The Orioles quickly knotted the count in their half with a single by Tom Shopay and double by Rich Dauer. Strategy dictated an intentional an pass to Eddie Murray, but Kelly wrecked the move with his game-winning homer. [The Sporting News]
