The Tigers' conversion of Fernando Arroyo from reliever to starter continued to pay dividends when the righthander pitched his first major league shutout, beating the Blue Jays, 9-0. The victory was his fourth against one defeat since coming out of the bullpen May 14. Ben Oglivie paced the Tigers' attack, driving in three runs with a sacrifice fly and homer. [The Sporting News]
