Making a pressure-packed debut with the Reds, Tom Seaver pitched a three-hitter and also batted in two runs in a 6-0 victory over the Expos. The Reds, who extended their winning streak to seven games, scored a run in the first inning on a pass to Pete Rose, single by Ken Griffey and sacrifice fly by Joe Morgan.
