. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Bruce Boisclair and John Stearns hit three-run homers in support of Craig Swan, who pitched the Mets to an 8-2 victory over the Astros in his first route-going performance of the season. Stearns batted in the Mets' first run with a double in the second inning. Boisclair's blow in the third snapped a tie. Stearns connected for his homer in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
