Lary Sorensen, who was brought up by the Brewers from Spokane (Pacific Coast) June 7, posted his first major league victory, pitching a four-hitter and defeating the Mariners, 7-1. Sal Bando supported the rookie by driving in three runs, including two with a homer in the third inning. Don Money also backed Sorensen with his defensive work, setting an A.
