Coming from behind in the ninth inning, the Braves scored twice to defeat the Dodgers, 5-4. The Dodgers took a 4-3 lead in the top half of the frame when Davey Lopes homered with a man on base. Gary Matthews promptly tied the score with a four-bagger to ignite the Braves' rally. Jerry Burroughs then walked, stopped at third on a double by Biff Pocoroba and scored the winning run on a single by Darrel Chaney. [The Sporting News]
