Oscar Gamble smashed two homers and Wilbur Wood pitched a seven-hitter for the White Sox, who extended their winning streak to seven games with a 4-2 victory over the Mariners. After Gamble's first homer in the second inning, the White Sox added two runs on a bases-loaded single by Alan Bannister.
