Juan Beniquez stole home in the sixth inning and followed with a homer in the seventh to enable the Rangers to beat the Athletics, 4-3. The speedy outfielder's theft gave the Rangers a 3-2 lead, but Tony Armas homered for the A's to tie the score in the top half of the seventh before Beniquez returned to the plate and won the game with his round-tripper.
