. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Carl Yastrzemski and Fred Lynn each collected four of the 17 hits by the Red Sox in a 9-5 victory over the Blue Jays. Yastrzemski drove in two runs and scored three, while Lynn crossed the plate twice and had one RBI. Otto Velez hit a single and homer to account for three runs as the Blue Jays matched the Red Sox in a 5-5 tie before Yastrzemski singled in the seventh inning, moved up on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Carlton Fisk to put the Red Sox ahead to stay.
