The Mariners hit four homers in one game for the first time in their brief history and outslugged the Twins, 13-11. Leroy Stanton hit a homer, double and single, driving in five runs, and Bill Stein accounted for four RBIs with a pair of round-trippers. Julio Cruz also homered for the Mariners.
