An infield grounder by Cecil Cooper that scored Charlie Moore from third base in the eighth inning produced the Brewers' deciding run in a 3-2 victory over the Red Sox. Moore, who had homered earlier for the Brewers' first counter, opened the eighth with a single, advanced on a sacrifice by Bob Sheldon and stopped at third on Robin Yount's third hit of the game.
