Frank White drove in a run in each of his first three times at bat, marking his fifth consecutive game with one or more RBIs, as the Royals defeated the Tigers, 4-3. White accounted for his first run with a grounder in the second inning. A single by White and sacrifice fly by George Brett added a pair in the fourth before White produced the deciding marker with a triple in the sixth.
