Wayne Garrett drove in four runs and Stan Bahnsen won his fifth straight game with relief help from Joe Kerrigan to lead the Expos to a 6-4 victory over the Dodgers. Garrett tripled in the second inning following two walks and Gary Carter's single that loaded the bases. Bahnsen's squeeze bunt then plated Garrett.

Garrett's fourth RBI came in the sixth after a double by Carter and Del Unser's bunt single. The other Expo tally resulted from Dave Cash's single, a stolen base and wild throw by L. A. catcher Steve Yeager and a single by Ellis Valentine. [The Sporting News]
