Eric Soderholm hit his fourth homer in the last six games, connecting with two men on base in the seventh inning, to lift the White Sox to a 6-4 victory over the Royals. Soderholm's smash followed singles by Oscar Gamble and Chet Lemon and put the White Sox ahead, 5-3. Jorge Orta added a run with a homer in the eighth.
