Eddie Murray hit his second homer of the game, connecting with a man on base in the 10th inning, to give the Orioles an 8-6 victory over the Athletics. Ken Singleton drove in three runs for the Orioles with a bases-loaded single and homer. Murray hit his first homer of the game in the eighth. The A's, who had a two-run drive by Tony Armas earlier in the game, rallied for three runs on two walks, a triple by Wayne Gross and sacrifice fly by Armas to tie the score at 6-6 in their half of the eighth.
