Mike Hargrove, Claudell Washington and Jim Sundberg batted in two runs apiece to pace the Rangers to an 8-3 victory over the Royals. Hargrove's RBIs came on a homer after a double by Sundberg in the third inning. Similarly, Washington homered following a two-bagger by Bert Campaneris in the fifth.
