Mike Hargrove hit his third leadoff homer in the last four games to open the Rangers' attack in an 11-3 victory over the Brewers. Singles by Bert Campaneris and Claudell Washington around a stolen base added a run in the first inning. The Rangers then erupted for six runs in the second, two scoring on a double by Washington, who finished the game with four hits. Don Money and Cecil Cooper homered for the Brewers.
