Five-hit pitching by Fernando Arroyo and a three-run homer by Rusty Staub powered the Tigers past the Angels, 5-1, for their fourth straight victory. Arroyo, winning only his second game since June 15, lost the shutout when Tony Solaita hit a homer in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
