Dave Concepcion had a perfect night at bat with a single, two doubles and a triple as the Reds piled up 15 hits to defeat the Mets, 11-4. Joe Morgan and George Foster smashed homers in the Reds' attack. Doug Capilla limited the Mets to five hits, but the rookie lefthander was lifted in the ninth inning when the Mets rallied for three runs, two scoring on a homer by Mike Vail. [The Sporting News]
