The Astros extended their winning streak to six games with a 6-2 victory while the Mets suffered their sixth straight defeat. Wilbur Howard knocked in the Astros' first two runs with a single and double. Enos Cabell then chipped in with a two-run double in the fifth when the Astros put the game away by scoring four times.
